To those who feel compelled to question or criticize my story, this is your moment to pause. What I share isn’t a single moment in time; it’s a lifetime of trauma that shaped who I am today. I don’t share to make anyone uncomfortable; I share because silence protects abusers, not survivors. My words are for those who feel alone and need to know they’re not.
It’s deeply painful when people who saw the signs, who know what happened, now deny it. I understand some do this because of their own unhealed wounds. And while I truly hope they find peace, that doesn’t mean their denial doesn’t hurt. Wanting healing for someone who hurt you is complicated, but it’s real.
If this content isn’t for you, you’re welcome to scroll on. But please know this: my story is mine to tell. I’ve spent too long being silenced, and I won’t be anymore.
This is a space for honesty, not trolling. Kindness is free.
Thank you to those who understand.
